Below is a video from 2012 where co-founder of Brave Heart, Stephen Kaumba, talks about when he first arrived in Meheba refugee camp. Every refugee arriving gets a spade, a bucket and two tarpaulins to make themselves a tent to live in. But they are not given any instructions how to build it, or how to grow their own food. It was a tough start for someone used to city life, but he managed. And he is now able to help thousands of other refugees through Brave Heart’s work in Meheba. Where we are able to show Gods love in a very practical way through free health care at our clinic, school sponsorship programs, micro finance and all other programs we run there.
And if you ever visit Kristiansand in Norway, come and visit Brave Heart Mission church where he is the pastor. (Sundays at 15:00)
